Superset 7000
ss4001_a.jpg (25919 bytes) The Superset 7000 is an attendant console application for Windows-based PCs. It allows the attendant to switch quickly between attendant functions and PC functions by pressing a single button and is recommended as a back-up answering positions for administrative staff who perform other PC-related duties.

The Superset 7000 consists of a Mitel PC TALK TO® card, a SUPERSET 400 Series handset and cradle, Superset 7000 application software, and self-adhesive keyboard decals. The console provides all of the call handling functions of the Superconsole 1000 and also provide a telephone directory capability to quickly locate telephone numbers of system users.

Display Features
The Superset 7000 attendant application uses a full PC display which shows the time and date and call status information including the names of callers within your organizations, call source and destination, the number of calls waiting to be answered, and calls on hold.

Keyboard Layout and Functions
The Superset 7000 keyboard is divided into logical groupings of keys that allows quick access to attendant and PC functions.

 

  • Firm keys - used to program console features or single-button access to applications
  • Dialpad keys - used to dial telephone numbers
  • Typing keys - used to enter information
  • Cursor keys - used to move the cursor
  • Call handling keys - fixed function keys that are used to manage calls and include Page, Block, Hold, Cancel, Function,  Retrieve, Release and Answer
  • Softkeys - used to enter commands. The functions available change based on the feature being accessed
  • Volume Adjustment keys - used to increase or decrease the ringing volume and handset volume
  • The # key - used to dial the pound (#) symbol when necessary
